Schofield & Sons is a professional construction and maintenance company based in Salford. Founded in 1978 and now managed by the founder’s son, we are renowned locally for our family values, our safe and ethical working practices, the quality of our work and our collaborative non-contractual approach to delivery.

Our three divisions; Responsive Repairs, Specialist Works and general Construction operate throughout the Northwest on projects between the values of £1k to £5 million. We currently turnover c£15 million in the role of principal/main contractor.

Our highly skilled directly employed teams have many years of experience across all trades within construction. Over 50% of our employees have been with us for many years and we find direct employment gives us greater control over our quality and delivery performance.

Customer satisfaction is our aim, delivering a quality product on time and to budget. This is reflected in our current list of clients and the public sector frameworks to which we are appointed. In some cases, we are awarded the work based on our reputation for quality and collaboration, even when not the lowest by tender price.
