Maintaining service
Security of the station when crews were called out to jobs.
Signing in and out of the station’s visitors’ book.
Maintaining clear access to the station for engines and crew.
Given the location of the site compound being directly behind the back of the engine bays, we had to work closely with the Station / Watch Manager with the initial design of the scaffold, sequencing of works, deliveries, and Station protocol. Morning meetings were held once the new Station / Watch Manager had started their shift where we would provide details of the day’s tasks, update of or progress, programme and deliverers.
